
ToneStone
A musical creativity platform designed to turn music consumers into creators






Brief
ToneStone is a new kind of digital audio workspace (DAW) that allows for people to make songs, remix other people’s songs, and share those songs on Discord. They came to me for help with their brand system, for their beta launch.
The goal was to create a brand that was immersive — a new world for creative musical play — for an audience of 12-25 year olds. To stand apart from other DAWs, ToneStone wanted their platform to establish a whole new way of being creative. They wanted to be whimsical and otherworldly, to be a creative cocoon for their creators.
