A series of installation works about our lifelong search and understanding of our “Identity”
The late artist and architect Sergio Duran was beloved by many and conceptually beyond his time. His wife, architect Nazila Duran, came to me to not only redo his old portfolio site, but to also create a space to memorialize him.
A design challenge was making a modern site with the limitation of low resolution images. We had to reimagine how to present an array of mixed media art works. The solution became making a new piece of work for the collection; a book titled “A Book for An Embassy Without A Country”. This format elevates the inconsistent documentation of the art work, creating a time capsule.
