Body care that ends mass incarceration
The United States incarcerates more of its population than any other nation. Today, nearly 1 out every 100 people are incarcerated. Communities who are impacted by this crisis are forced to think about incarceration every single day. At this unimaginable scale, Kat Morgan, Founder & CEO of Somebody Cares, wondered why non-impacted people aren't thinking about incarceration every day as well, and wondered how and what might prompt them to start. Somebody Cares was created as a line of products designed for daily use and thus designed for daily awareness.
"Why body care products?" Somebody Cares answers with, "why not?" Their brand was designed to increase engagement with this issue, generate funds to support organizations who are fighting against incarceration, and do so daily as an act of self care and service.
